I think it has been so long that I haven't updated this blog. Haha, right now, I decide to get active again in this blog. Well the important thing is I will change my post topics regarding ASP.NET -> PHP, Linear Signal and System will be changed into FPGA Practical DSP using Nios II and MATLAB. I will also try to add an article about trends or issue that faced by the technology nowadays. Maybe I will get article from other source. I will also publish some paper and E-book that I downloaded and collected. There will be various topics including paper and E-book, but it will be related to Cryptography, DSP, Image Processing, and others.
Well I think it's enough information for now. Hope you visit my blog.

C# Tutorial
I got a good tutorial about how to program with C#. This tutorial is not written by me, but this tutorial gave me a good reference when I was doing my project. This tutorial provides a basic understanding about how to program in C#. The example provided in this tutorial are using Console Application. You can download it here :

Inserting Data to a Table using ADO.NET in ASP.NET
I will share how to insert a row to a table using SQL Query in Microsoft SQL Server using ADO.NET and ASP.NET. In the previous course we learn about the basic of ADO.NET. We learn about how to query a data from a table in a database. The step can be summarized :
- Open a connection to database
- Specify the SQL Query to perform the operation
- Execute the command
And to perform this query, we need to use the method of ExecuteScalar(). The namespaces that need to be added to do this task are :
using System.Data.Sql;
using System.Data.SqlClient;
To summarize it, the code should be like this.
string connectionString = "Your connection String";
SqlConnection conn = new SqlConnection(connectionString);
conn.Open();
SqlCommand command = new SqlCommand();
command.Connection = conn;
command.CommandText = @"INSERT INTO table_name(fld1,fld2)"+
"VALUES ('value1', 'value2')";
command.ExecuteScalar();
conn.Close();
At last a post again...
For a long time, I haven't updated my blog. Maybe since 1 month ago. Now, I try to update it again. There are some things I want to inform you all. I have thought this for some time. Maybe I will change the style of my blog giving tutorial or course. The course and tutorial will be posted in a post and you don't need to download the file. I will try to change this blog as a reference or maybe you can call it a simple handbook so that you can browse this web to find your solution if you have a problem.
I will also post an e-book or article or paper more actively from now on. There are some interesting e-book I got from the internet and I will share it to you all.
I hope that my blog gave benefit to you all. Also I want to apologize for the bad English that this blog used since I'm trying to improve my English by blogging.

ASP.NET Web Development - Introduction
Here is a tutorial I created about Web Development using ASP.NET. This is a "step-by-step" tutorial that will explain in detail how to create a simple website using ASP.NET and Microsoft Visual Studio 2008.
For this first tutorial I explained about the basic of creating and connecting a database in ASP.NET web page.
This tutorial will provide you the basic knowledge how to use Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 in developing your website.
In this tutorial we will use the C# language to perform some function such as connecting to database when the page is loaded. We will use the System.Data.Sql and System.Data.SqlClient class to perform this function.
We will use SqlConnection class to create an object for connecting to a Database. This can be done with code :
string connectionString = "//the connection string can be obtained in database properties";
SqlConnection connect = new SqlConnection(connectionString);
connect.Open()
In this tutorial, to read a database we will use SqlCommand and SqlDataReader class.
To read data from a table in the database can be done with the code :
SqlCommand command = new SqlCommand();
command.Connection = connect;
command.CommandText = "//this is the SQL Query needed";
SqlDataReader reader = command.ExecuteReader();
while(reader.Read())
{
//The code here..., to access a data in a field use the syntax -> reader["field_name"]
}
In this tutorial, to display a content to the web page we will use the InnerHtml attribute with this code :
string HTMLcode = "//a string that contain HTML tag to display some content";
div_ID.InnerHtml = HTMLcode;
Above, is a brief explanation about the tutorial. For a complete tutorial you can download the file in pdf format and you can download the source code from the link below :

In the mean time I also will post a notes about Operating System - Introduction. But I still need a little time to finish it.

System - Description and Analysis
Some of the topics covered in this notes are :
1. Brief explanation and definition of System
2. Properties of System including Homogeinity, Additivity, Time Invariance, and Invertibility
3. Explanation about Linear System, some properties of Linear System including
Stability,Causality, Incremental Linearity, and Static/Dynamic System.
4. A brief explanation about Non-Linear System
5. A brief explanation about Feedback System
6. How to perform System type checking(How to check whether a system is linear or non-linear,
time invariant or time variant, causal and non-causal.
I also will provide an e-book Schaum's Outline About Signal and System. This e-book contains some of good exercise and simple explanation that will help you to understand the concept of Linear Signal and System. Some of the exercises in the previous notes were also taken from this e-book.
Maybe I will list some of key points in this note :
- A system has excitation(input) and response(output)
- A system has some properties :
1. Homogeinity : multiplying an input by a constant simply result in multiplied output by that
constant too.
2. Additivity : summing some input simply will cause a response that is the sum of the
response of each input.
3. Time Invariance : delaying an input to a system simply will cause a delayed ouput from the
system
4. Invertibility : unique input for a unique response
- A linear system is a system that is both homogenous and additive.
- A Linear Time Invariant System is a linear system that is Time Invariant
- A system said to be stable if the system has BIBO(Bounded Input and Bounded Output)
- A system said to be Causal if the system's response doesn't depend on input from the future
time, the system's response at a time only depends from the input up to that time.
- Incremental Linearity means a Linear System that have initial condition as an offset added to
the response.
- Static System is a system said to have no memory. The response at a time only depends on
arbitrary excitation at that time
- Dynamic System is a system said to have memory. The response at a time also depends on
excitations at another time.
- Non-Linear System is a system whose the relationship of the amplitude of excitation and
response are not linear. An example of Non-Linear System is a product of 2 system(using
Analog Multiplier)
- Feedback System is a system whose have an output at a time that will act as another input
beside the excitation at another time/state.
- Linearity check use the Homogeinity and Additivity properties :
u(t) = a . x(t) + b . y(t)
- Time Invariant check use the unit advance properties :
x[n + 1] = q . x[n]
Well that's some of key point that I think were important. You can just download the notes from the link belown for more specific explanation and solution, and also the ebook Schaum's Outline of Linear Signal and System :
Description and Analysis of System(4shared.com)
Schaum's Outline of Linear Signal and System Ebook(4shared.com)
Well sorry for the late post, hope you all get benefit from it.

Take A Break while Doing Project
Well for this time, I got some work to do in a company. I got some project creating a website using ASP.NET. The bad news is I can't frequently updated my blog with new course/notes. The good news is I can provide some tutorial of ASP.NET Web Application Programming after I finished my project and my work.
Well it takes a lot of stamina to do my project and I got exhausted sometime. So I can't prepare a new notes. Actually I have prepared 2 notes, 1 about Analysis and Description of Signal(Linear Signal and System notes) and a notes about Introduction to Operating System(new notes). But I still working on them and maybe it will take a little more time to finish it.
Okay I think that is all for now. From now on I will not frequently updated my blog. Maybe I will concentrate on prepared some more notes and tutorial and I will post them together in one time after I finished it.
Best Regards,
Admin
